A little update on the evolution of my HOT (Hands on Tech) Series. On 2/15, we held our first lunch time webinar. About 25 people showed up. It was great to see lots of colleagues, former colleagues and new friends there. On 2/22, we held our second webinar, and we had about 10 folks attend. There was great energy in the room!
Here are the archives of the first two events in case you didn’t have a chance to participate.
- 2.15 – Pinterest. WeVideo. Windows Live Movie Maker
- 2.22 – Voki. GoAnimate
- 2.29 – (Next week the whole session will be about how to use Adobe Connect and other synchronous webinar options.)
I will also being teaching a live, face-to-face workshop at the Graduate School of Marlboro College in Brattleboro, Vermont on Wednesday 2/29/2012 from 5pm to 7pm. The topic will be Making Your Presentations Zing! (Working on livestreaming it.)
This series is evolving, and any thoughts you have on how to make them better, more informative and even more fun, please let me know: leave a comment or email me at wdebock AT gmail DOT com.
