Monsters Made Real!

What would children’s drawings of monsters look like if they were painted realistically?  Illustrator Dave DeVries came up with The Monster Engine as his answer (and as reported on the website http://www.elezea.com.)

Interestingly, my local art museum (Brattleboro Museum and Art Center) is currently showing a similar exhibit entitled VT Kids Design Glass. Basically school kids across the county drew and described creatures of their imaginations, and then some were chosen and turned into glass sculptures by different artists.
