Virtual Choir 2.0

[Editor’s Note: This article was written by the CTL’s Laurie Hansen.]

In his TED talk, Eric Whitacre spoke of breaking boundaries with music. Whitacre created a virtual choir via Youtube.  The world experienced the premiere of his piece “Sleep” via Livestream on April 7th 2011 from the Paley Center for Media in New York.  Don’t worry if you missed it!  You can watch and listen to the recorded version of the 2,052 voices of the Virtual Choir 2.0.  Pretty awesome!

A hat tip goes to my 5th grader who shared this, via her teacher Mrs. White!
