KU Village 2011: Kermit was Wrong!

[Editor’s note: This article was written by the CTL’s Laurie Hansen.]

It is easy being green!  This year’s online, paper-free conference, KUVillage 2011, is a Lean Mean Green Machine!  Our theme Convergence: Through Onground, Online and Blended Teaching and Learning is giving attendees the opportunity to share ideas about teaching and learning that will change the virtual and site-based classroom experiences without burning an iota of fuel!  Attendees, presenters and key-note speakers will serve as natural resources without leaving a carbon footprint.

One of our environmentally friendly features is our IL Greenhouse: your place to plant the seeds of innovation so we can grow, cultivate and share ideas.  What’s more?  Your friendships will blossom as we visit and discuss in the Village Square, online, of course, so no carpools necessary.

Won’t you join us in our efforts to learn and share while keepin’ it green?  Our pre-conference is on September 26th and the conference runs from September 27 – 29, 2011.  All with zero emission!

It’s KU Village.  And we want you to be there!  Registration will be starting on July 25 at www.kuvillage.org!
