The Loh Down on Science

[Editor’s Note: This article was written by the CTL’s Laurie Hansen.]

If you have two minutes and a sense of humor you may appreciate California Institute of Technology’s (home of JPL) The Loh Down on Science, “the fun way to get your daily dose of science in less than two minutes.”  Caltech alumna and host Sandra Tsing Loh “airs Monday through Friday on more than 100 radio stations throughout the U.S. and it is heard, via the Armed Forces Radio Network, in more than 179 countries throughout the world.”   If you’ve missed the radio broadcast, check out recorded episodes or read the scripts.

  1. I love this! The format is also very cool…a quick audio clip with a transcript. What an idea for IL! Maybe a 2-minute weekly low-down on tech/online learning tips for faculty.
