Music and time travel for a song . . . free actually

[Editor’s Note: This article was written by the CTL’s Laurie Hansen.]

Music takes me places.  I like to travel to the UK via iTunes radio, Absolute 80’s.  It reminds me of my WLIR days and the Screamers and Shreeks of the week.  It’s almost like time travel.

You can also get carried away with Pandora: “The personalized internet radio service that helps you find new music based on your old and current favorites . . . listen free.”  They boast a “vast trove of music” with which you can “create custom web radio stations.”  Pandora music is analyzed by a team of musicologists. Basically, the music is categorized into similar categories of music.  Interesting.

Another way to listen, share and even chat live with others is to join Playlist.com (for free).  Don’t like filling out forms?  You can join “using your Facebook account with a couple of clicks.”

Wow, easy AND free!

Have a nice trip!
