Responsible Tweeting

There is much to be said about getting the facts straight.  Rumors and urban legends spread quickly.  With sites like Snopes.com, luckily we can verify the validity.   But now with Twitter and texting, words can spread like lightning.  In the Journalism.org News Index,   I came away with one important point “First, the speed at which information circulates on the Web and how hard it is to dial back once out there.”

Just a friendly reminder:  Perhaps it is best to think before we tweet.
