Digital Dirt

Spring is almost here! Time for tilling the soil and planting. However, if you’re like me, you may forget to water your plants . . . again! Well non-green thumb gardeners, I’ve got great news! There is a “smart new gardening breakthrough that delivers the garden of your dreams!” It even has “NASA moisture sensing technology…” Wow!

This daisy-in-disguise collects data such as sunlight, temperature, humidity level, soil moisture and drainage via a sensor straight from your garden. It takes only 24 hours to collect the data. Here’s the punch line: You plug the “daisy” into your computer (careful not to get dirt in your USB port) and it adjusts to your zip code and climate and gives gardening and plant recommendations for your area from the EasyBloom online Plant Library.

Bloomin’ easy, no?
