Billion Acts of Green

[Editor’s Note: This article was written by Laurie Hansen of the CTL.]

In preparation for Earth Day on April 22, the Earth Day Network launched billion acts of green, a Twitter-esque site designed to help you keep your commitment to a greener, cleaner earth! Just enter your act of green, or choose from the drop down menu: recycle, conserve water, advocate, etc. Choose your user name, enter your email, choose an image (sun, polar bear or leaf). Then, click “Count My Act!” You can also share and bookmark on services with one more click (too many to list). As I write this entry there are 5,061,870 acts of green registered (mine included).

What will be your act of green?
