Connect, Communicate and Collaborate

D’Arcy Norman created a neat video for a grad level course assignment at the University of Calgary.  He collected videos from people in his PLN (personal learning network) answering the question: “How do you connect to people online?”  You can read about the project here.  The video itself is about 15 minutes long and you can watch it here.

This video has inspired a New Year’s resolution for me:  in 2010, I want to “make things” with people.  I want to push the “Collaborate” part of the tagline from the KU Village conference “Connect, Communicate and Collaborate.”  I am not sure what the “things” will be, but I think the podcast will be one of the collaborative pieces.  Maybe some movies?  Maybe a traditional academic paper.  Not sure, but I will make 2010 the year of Collaboration for Will deBock.
