In February, the IL Book Discussion Group will be discussing Cathleen Falsani’s The Dude Abides: The Gospel According to the Coen Brothers.

Also, the New York Times had an article on the academic books that are coming out about The Big Lebowski. One which caught my fancy was “The Year’s Work in Lebowski Studies.” And a little irreverently, the article says, “Where cult films go, academics will follow.” Hmmm… not sure what to make of that. ;-)
Personally, I plan to re-watch some of the Coen Brother’s movies over the holidays. Certainly, The Big Lebowski is on my list!
